Airlines Serving Phoenix International Airport

Sixteen airlines serve Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), one of the busiest in the nation. The airport has three separate terminals, joined with a network of roads. Terminal 2 is home to Alaska, Great Lakes, and United. Alaska flies from Phoenix to destinations in California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Great Lakes is a smaller airline with a hub in Phoenix. This airline also flies from Phoenix to Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, and Albuquerque.

Terminal 3 houses American, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, JetBlue, and Sun Country. JetBlue flies to the East Coast from Phoenix. American, Delta and Frontier provide nationwide services from Phoenix. Sun Country flies to and from Phoenix from many midwestern airports. Hawaiian offers flights from Phoenix to four airports in the Hawaiian Islands.

Terminal 4 is the largest and newest at Sky Harbor, home to Aeromexico, Air Canada, AirTran Airlines, British Airways, Southwest Airlines, US Airways, and WestJet. Aeromexico services other cities in the Southwest and Mexico. Air Canada flies to Canadian cities from Phoenix, and WestJet flies to 100 resort destination cities in The U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. AirTran Airlines flies nonstop from Milwaukee to Phoenix. This airline is a subsidiary of Southwest Airlines and is the only branch of the company that provides international flights, as of 2012, to destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. Travelers can book AirTran flights leaving from Houston by flying Southwest from Phoenix to Houston.

Southwest, British Airways and US Airways provide many flights daily to destinations in the U.S., and British Airways provides nonstop flights from Phoenix to London. US Airways' corporate headquarters are in the Phoenix metro area and this airline provides international flights to locations in Europe, Mexico, South America, and Canada. Southwest has a hub in Phoenix, and next to US Airways, provides the most flight options when flying from the Phoenix International Sky Harbor Airport.
