Orlando Airport Ground Transportation

Ground Transportation at Orlando International Airport
Orlando International Airport offers convenient access to the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando’s downtown business district, and top Orlando attractions. Ground transportation options detailed below include taxis, rental cars, buses, Amtrak trains, hotel shuttles, and private limos.

Airport Taxis
Travelers can hire cabs outside Level 1 of the airport’s main terminal. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Rental Cars
Orlando has more rental cars than does any city in the world. Many rental car agencies are stationed in the baggage claim area of Orlando International Airport. Others are located near to the airport and provide free shuttle services for customers.

Agencies in Baggage Claim include the well-known chains Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. EZ Rent-a-Car and L & M Car Rental also have airport offices.

Buses and Trains at Orlando Airport

Greyhound Buses
The Orlando Greyhound station is located approximately 13 miles from the airport. It can be accesses by taxis, shuttles, and Lynx bus #11. Travel to the Greyhound station via bus takes approximately 60 minutes.

The Lynx bus departs from the “A” side of the main terminal on Level 1. To reach the Greyhound station, take the #11 to North Garland Avenue and then transfer to the #25. The Greyhound station’s stop is at 500 John Young Parkway.

Amtrak
The Orlando Amtrak station is located approximately 12 miles from the airport. It can be accesses by taxis, shuttles, and Lynx bus #11. Travel by bus takes approximately 30 minutes.

The Lynx bus departs from the “A” side of the main terminal on Level 1. To reach the Greyhound station, take the #11 to Orange Avenue and Columbia Street. From the bus stop, walk down Columbia Street and then turn left onto Sligh Blvd.

Courtesy Shuttles
Dozens of hotels are located within two or three miles of Orlando International. Many offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. These rides must generally be scheduled; courtesy shuttles do not automatically stop at the airport. Call your hotel directly or use the courtesy phone in the baggage claim area.

Limo Services
Many luxury transportation companies serve Orlando International Airport. Limousine service typically costs from $50-$90 per hour in the Orlando area.
