Airlines Serving Jeddah International Airport

Being the largest gateway into the most sacred sites for the Islamic religion, Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is accessible to the rest of the Arab world thanks to an array of Asian and Middle Eastern airlines. JED airport is a major hub for Saudia, the official flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudia offers an impressive list of more than 50 total destinations from the King Abdulaziz International Airport. The Saudi Arabian flag carrier connects the city of Jeddah to important cities in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Beirut, Cairo, Casablanca, Damascus, Islamabad, Istanbul, and Tehran are some of the major cities in the Arab World that are accessible through Saudia airline service. There are more than a dozen other seasonal destinations within the Muslim world. Major European cities connected to Jeddah via Saudi Arabia's flag carrier include London, Milan, Madrid, Paris, and Rome. There is also direct service to the U.S. including to Washington D.C. and New York City. Of course, Saudia also provides reliable domestic service to more than 10 destinations including to large cities such as Dammam, Medina, Riyadh, Tabuk, and Abha. Saudia is one of two airlines to exclusively use the South Terminal building. Additionally, the Saudi Arabian flag carrier uses the Hajj facilities during the peak Muslim pilgrimage season.

Another major Saudi Arabian airline company to use Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport as a hub is Nas Air. This low cost airline provides more than a dozen flight options to major destinations in Saudi Arabia's neighboring countries. Alexandria, Amman, Islamabad, Kuwait, and Luxor are on the list of Nas Air operations. Additionally, the Saudia Arabian low cost carrier offers seasonal flights to the popular Egyptian resort town of Sharm el Sheikh. Nas Air is the second airline company to have rights for operations at the South Terminal complex. All other airlines use the North Terminal at the JED airport.

Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport is well served by major airline companies from neighboring Arab countries. The busiest Middle Eastern airline company Emirates offers trips to the bustling city of Dubai. Etihad Airways and Flydubai are two other airlines from the United Arab Emirates that serve Jeddah. EgyptAir offers flights to the Egyptian capital city Cairo. Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, and Qatar Airways are other major airline companies from the Arabian Peninsula that serve Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport.

United Airways is the only American carrier that serves Jeddah. However, this major U.S. airline company offers flights within the Middle East only.
