Airlines Serving Halifax International Airport

The Halifax Stanfield International Airport is located nineteen miles north of Halifax in the province of Nova Scotia in Canada. The airport serves the people of Nova Scotia, and the neighboring provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.

The main airline scheduling flights to and from the Halifax airport is Air Canada, the national airline of Canada. Air Canada offers the most flight choices from Halifax to major cities within Canada and the United States. Travelers can also choose flights to other international destinations, such as London, England and Sydney, Australia.

Many major airlines from the United States fly into the Halifax Stanfield airport, and include Delta, American, United, US Airways, and Continental. The US airlines provide service mainly to large cities on the eastern coast of the United States, such as Boston, Philadelphia and New York.

Other Canadian airlines that serve the airport are Porter and Air Saint Pierre. Both airlines fly to cities in eastern Canada. Air Saint Pierre partners with Air France to provide service to Paris, France through Montreal, Quebec.

Sunwing Airlines offers flights to destinations in Mexico during the winter months, and Thomas Cook provides service to Jamaica and Mexico, also during the winter.
