Dayton Airport Ground Transportation

The Dayton International Airport is the third-largest airport in Ohio and one of the fastest-growing airports in the nation. Flights leaving from the Dayton International Airport can reach more than 50% of the country within 90 minutes making it one of the most convenient hubs for cargo carriers and low-cost airlines. The Dayton International Airport offers regular flights to Denver, Chicago, New York and many cities of the West Coast as well as international flights to major airports in Canada.

Directions By Car
The Dayton International Airport is located north of downtown Dayton in the suburb of Vandalia. By car, travelers have easy access to the airport from the intersecting arteries of Interstate 70 and Interstate 75, which are known as the Crossroads of America. From I-70, take exit #32, which leads directly to the specially-designed Dayton International Airport Access Road. Follow the access road straight through the intersection of National Road where it becomes Terminal Road marking the official entrance to the Dayton International Airport.

Airport Parking at Dayton International
The Dayton International Airport has one central terminal and two concourses with short and long-term parking located directly in front of the terminal. Travelers arriving by car can follow the looping arrival and drop-off road or enter the surface lot and parking garage located in front of the terminal. Travelers can also park in one of the economy overflow lots located on the southeast edge of the airport.

Ground Transportation
The taxi cue starter service offered at Dayton International is one of the easiest ways to call a cab. Passengers can call cabs from nine of the best local transport companies from the dedicated taxi starter booth located in the arrivals area. Taxis are available everyday for the first arrivals to 30 minutes after the last scheduled flight. From the lobby and arrivals area, independent travelers and groups can arrange ground transportation with a local shuttle or charter company. For convenience and fast service, shuttle operators have a dispatcher stationed in the baggage claim area.

Rental Cars
Passengers arriving at the Dayton International Airport can choose between six on-site rental agencies with concierge desks located in the baggage claim area. After checking in, passengers can pickup vehicles from the first level of the parking garage located directly in front of the airport.
