Airlines Serving Amsterdam International Airport

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
The world's oldest airline operating under its original name, KLM is based in Amsterdam and offers flights to destinations throughout the world. In addition to a number of destinations, KLM offers a large number of flights; for instance, 19 flights daily to London, 12 to Paris, 4 daily direct flights to New York City, and 4 daily flights to Rome.

Air Berlin
The second largest airline in Germany, Air Berlin flies to Palma de Mallorca, with connections to other destinations in Spain and Portugal. While it offers free snacks, unlike many local European airlines, passengers can also buy gourmet meals on board.

Air France
A partner with KLM, Air France provides flights between Amsterdam and Paris as well as a number of other French cities.

British Airways
British Airways, the national airline of the UK, operates out of its hub airport, London Heathrow, with daily flights to and from Amsterdam.

Cathay Pacific
One of Asia's premier airlines, Cathay Pacific offers outstanding in-flight service and entertainment on its Amsterdam-Hong Kong flights.

China Airlines
Taiwan's airline, China Airlines, flies between Amsterdam and Taipei by way of Bangkok. China Airlines often offers lower fares to Hong Kong than KLM, requiring booking far in advance to ensure ticket availability.

Continental Airlines
Continental Airlines links Amsterdam with Newark, NJ and Houston, TX, two of its hub airports, enabling a vast selection of connecting flights to other US cities as well as many foreign destinations.

Delta Airlines
Since merging with Northwest Airlines, Atlanta-based Delta Airlines is the largest US commercial air carrier. Delta operates a diverse fleet out of Amsterdam's Schipol Airport with flights to Atlanta and New York City's JFK Airport.

Japan Airlines
Japan's national carrier, Japan Airlines services the Amsterdam-Tokyo route, one of the most important air links between Europe and Asia.

Korean Air
South Korea's national airline, Korean Air connects Amsterdam with the capital Seoul.

Lufthansa is Germany's national airline, and one of the world's major airlines. It links Amsterdam with a number of cities in Germany, with frequent flights to its main hubs in Frankfurt and Munich.

Malaysia Airlines
Excellent in-flight service is available on Malaysia Airlines flights linking Amsterdam with Kuala Lumpur. The airline also offers personal in-flight system to all classes of passengers, not just those in first and business class.

Northwest Airlines
Northwest Airlines (NWA) is one of the main foreign airlines in Amsterdam, and since its merger with Delta Airlines has expanded flights. Schipol Airport serves as an unofficial mini-hub for NWA.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines
The joint national airline of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, SAS links Amsterdam with the three countries' capitals with connections to other Scandinavian destinations.
